This game could have been so much better but it just doesn't get it done.

To start with, the graphics are pretty poor. Yeah, I know its a Wii but they look like something you would have seen on Nintendo 64.

The various modes of gameplay are varied enough that you can spend a good while in each of them but in reality, its all the same.

The regular "play ball" is okay, about what you'd expect...just a single game.
The season play is about the same.
The legend mode is kind of fun but the mini games are rather pointless in that you have to "pass" them in order to move on...so its more frustrating than fun. The way the games are set up make them tedious.

The actual gameplay is okay...being able to actually throw a pitch or swing the bat is nice but once you get past that, its just kind of a dull repetative game. There are some times in the game where you'll have a "duel" between a hitter and a pitcher and all the hitter has to do is make contact and he'll hit a homerun...kind of silly to me.
Another aspect are the "legendary plays" when someone makes a great catch. They usually occur about every other inning so they loose their "coolness" pretty quickly.
Pitching is easy...just get your powerbar to max and the hitter is going to strike out. Move your controller with some twist and there you have it.

The rosters for the teams are pretty limited. You have probably a total of 5-6 pitchers...which I guess doesn't really matter because all pitchers pretty much pitch the same.

In all, this game is fun to just play a pickup game but it doesn't have everything that it could or should. They could have done much much better on this.

This is a great, entertaining baseball game for those who care expert gamers and also for the challenged gamer. It's easy to learn with minimal practice time.

GRAPHICS
Graphics are on par with the wii and leave nothing to be desired for what can be done on the system.

GAMEPLAY
Gameplay is simple and intuitive. Time doesn't need to be spent reading the manual for an hour on the technicalities of the game. In camparison to MLB series games, this has a much easier learning curve. The motion controls are fun and are used wisely.

FUN
This is the 1st baseball game that is as much fun to pitch as it is to bat. It's the best game when playing against other players. Faking out the AI with pitches isn't quite as rewarding nor fair (in my mind.) The arcade visuals and power-turbo modes are a lot of fun and keep things fast-paced and interesting.

This was my first sports game for the Wii, so i didn't really know what toexpect....I really really hope they're not all similar to the bigs 2. The only pros i would say about this game would be the fact that u can use the classic controller, which really helps for sports games....and the graphics are decent, but not great....although i understand you're not supposed to expect much graphic-wise on the wii. anyway, my most major disappointment was in the season mode-- stats are kept but only the most basic ones, and they are hard to get to during the game. They don't show anything stat-wise in game. Not all players are available for use, only 5 or 6 pitchers and i believe 12 hitters. The "points" that you accumulate during a game is just ridiculous, if i wanted to play something where i needed to win points i'd put in a non-sports game. You also don't have complete control over the situation when playing the computer, if they want to get a "Big Slam" they will just load the bases without you having any control over the pitches that were thrown, and then the next guy will hit a grand slam magically. Its just RIDICULOUS. Thats a good word to sum up the game. Anwyay, i would give this game 2 stars as opposed to 1, due to the fact that maybe non-baseball fans and kids would enjoy it. BUT IF YOURE A REAL BASEBALL FAN AND BASEBALL VIDEO-GAMER, DO NOT GET THIS GAME!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! The controls on this game are awkward and poorly described both in the game's tutorial and in its manual. I tried to even throw a pitch and couldn't get it to register my movements. Swings are also delayed in hitting, which makes that difficult, though not impossible like the pitching is. This game should not have been released in this condition.

well, I am a big baseball fan and gamer but this game just doesn't deliver. It doesn't even have the real baseball gaming experiences. Personally I think I had more fun playing wii sports baseball. I like the 2k9 although most of the people think it is hard to play and I agree but at least it is more realistic than the BIGS. Too many unnecessary and repetitive gestures from the players just make it looks worse.

Well, what can I say? It's a really good game! I have played other Scene It games and game play is usually slow because it is played on the dvd player. I found that playing the Scene It game on the Wii made game play flow much better and it went a lot faster.
I have played both this game and the board game and this game is much better, no question. I like that each player is allowed the chance to answer the questions. The faster you buzz in with your answer the more points you get. Special questions where you have to guess what happens next in the scene, or figure out what is missing will only allow one person to answer so you have to be the first to buzz in to answer those questions. If you get the question wrong you don't get any points. And the later you buzz in the fewer points you get. Unless if you're losing badly, the game can always turn at any point and someone who was losing could find themselves winning. Or you could just play against yourself and see if you can get a higher score each time.
There are pictures that you can unlock through game play, however, that did not interest me. I am much more interested in just playing the game and really don't care how many pictures I've unlocked. That's not the reason for playing the game and I know once I've unlocked all the pics that I will still play it because that's why I bought it.

This game is well worth the (...) that amazon charges, however it is not worth (...)(which is what you will probably pay at a store). Some of the questions repeat themselves which is to be expected since you can only ask so may questions about one movie. I think that it is alot more fun and interactive than the twilight scene it game, the only difference is that the wii version is multiple choice, so its a little eaiser. However, it is more fun, because you have to use the wii remote to buzz in, and you shake the wii remote to draw the pictures faster. The wii game is almost identical to the board game version, so if you are expecting something more you will probably be dissapointed. It's just depends on your preference.

Scene It? Twilight

Hands down the best game evar created. This is the very reason why gaming consoles came into being. This is the culmination of over 30 years of hard work and makes the carpal-tunnel from years of programing worth every minute of jolting pain. I got another chubby just from thinking about it again.
